Meeting Notes from Linda

By Linda Mullins

Our last meeting was held Dec. 13th.

John and Carol Null, Terry Chestnut, and Stephanie Barber were our hosts. Our thanks to them for the delicious food and nice decorations.

Stephanie showed us folders she made for new members to receive when they join.

Our Hometown Christmas food sales went very well. The nice weather we were enjoying brought many more people out for the evening. “Just Memories now…” . Tim reported on delivering our Christmas tree. The family really appreciated everything.

Our postponed Grange Christmas party will be Jan. 13. There will be lots of good food and we play take-away-bingo. Always a fun time.

We are selling our Scholarship meat raffle tickets. The drawing will be April 11.

County Line’s  baked chicken dinner fundraiser will be Jan. 27th. We will do a 50/50 raffle also.

Hope everyone is staying safe and warm in this very cold weather.

Happy New Year  to everyone!

Autumn breeze=Slow your speed!

Remember to SLOW DOWN so you don’t meet a farmer the Wrong way!! The air is getting cooler, the leaves are beginning to turn, hot fresh donuts from the Apple orchard and time to pull out the pumpkin recipes! Driving around you see fields getting cleared and as Tim mentioned at our last meeting we are officially in a drought. You can see the dust clouds following the farmers. Corn stalks coming down and crafters imagination is kicking into gear. Fall is here. Happy Harvest time. Have you decided your costume idea for our next meeting and Halloween party?
